Thank you for your interest in Pioneer Technology and Arts Academy Arizona (PTAA AZ). We’ve included a comprehensive overview of the policies and procedures that relate to the Admission and Enrollment of a student. We encourage parents and guardians to read through and let us know if you have any questions.
Students will participate in activities ranging from mentorships, paid internships, worksite visits, and workplace experiences, all aimed at providing students with the tools required to either continue their education at a four-year postsecondary school or enter entry-level careers in healthcare, advanced manufacturing, IT and other competitive fields.
Spanish and Mandarin Chinese are taught to provide an understanding of other cultures and a global education. With the right preparation, many of today's students will work for companies that operate and compete in a global marketplace; some may even have opportunities to work overseas themselves.

Open Enrollment period for K-8th grade
January 24th, 2023
Pre-registration/Intent to Return deadline for current students returning in order to hold their spot for the next year.
February 20th, 2023
Lotteries will be conducted for applications received during the Open Enrollment Period for the 2022 – 2023 school year. Lotteries will take place at 10:30 am at the district office. Lotteries are open to the public, but applicants are not required or expected to attend.
February 22nd, 2023
Admissions status based on lottery results will be posted for applications received during Open Enrollment Period for the 2023- 2024 school year.
March through the 2022-2023 school year – Any person applying will still follow the application procedure. If there is not a waiting list in a particular grade level, applications will be offered a spot on a first-come-first-served basis. If there is a waitlist, applications will continue to be added to the waitlist on a first-come-first-served basis.
